Metoxsil

  • Pyrogenic Fumed Silica (Colloidal Silicon Dioxide)
  • Highly versatile product finding uses in a large variety of industries including but not restricted to pharmaceutical preparations, food products, paints and pigments, printing inks, adhesives and sealants, silicone rubbers, unsaturated polyester resins and more.

Lactose

  • ICV markets a wide range of milled, sieved, anhydrous, spray dried and inhalation grades. Both food grade and pharmaceutical grade lactose are available.
  • In the pharmaceutical industry, lactose finds many uses as a filler, binder and a sweetening agent.
  • In many pharmaceutical preparations it also improves th flowability of the formulation and assists in drug delivery.
  • Milled and sieved lactose combines compaction and flow properties and is very popularly used in wet granulation methods.
  • For direct compression methods spray dried, granulated lactose and anhydrous forms find more poplar use.
  • Inhalation grade lactose is used to obtain reproducible, high pulmonary deposition.
  • It is used in seasonings and baked goods due to its ability to carry colors and flavors well. It's also added to foods and edibles like ice cream, skim milk, condensed milk, dry soups, coffee creamers, chocolate and candies, meat products, and canned fruit and vegetables.

Povidones

  • ICV markets a very strong range of polymers with diversified uses including PVPs with different K-values, PVPPs, VP/VI copolymers, VA copolymer, PVM/MA copolymer and others.
  • PVPs find use as binders suitable for wet and dry granulation and direct compression in tableting. They are also used as solubilizers, coating agents, and suspending and stabilizing agents.
  • PVPs also find use as film former and thickener for hair styling products, e.g. hair gels, mousses, pump sprays, as emulsion stabilizers in creams and lotions, as dispersant for hair colorant as destainers and gelling agents in toothpastes and as thickening agents for oral and optical preparations.
  • Insoluble PVPPs possess dual binding and disintegration properties while enhancing active solubilization. They therefore find use as super disintegrants, solubility enhancers, suspension stabilizers, and complexing agent.
  • Povidone Iodine is a broad spectrum biocidal, antifungal and antiviral agent with extremely low risk of promoting microorganism resistance.
  • PVP VA64 is a vinylpyrrolidone-vinyl acetate copolymer, possessing excellent powder and film properties for broad application in the pharmaceutical field as a water soluble tablet binder, film former, porogenic agent, and solubilizing agent.
  • OraRez W is a pharmaceutical grade powder co-polymer of methyl vinyl ether and maleic anhydride and is an outstanding mucoadhesiving showing the ability to complex, solubilize and retain actives on the mucosal tissue. Puralk

  • Sodium and Potassium Hydroxide Pellets

N-Methyl Pyrrolidone

  • 1-Methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP)
  • Acts as a strong water-miscible, polar, aprotic solubilizing agent in the formulation of drugs.
  • Serves the role of a penetration enhancer in pharmaceutical preparations for both oral and transdermal delivery routes.
  • Highly utilized solvent in paint & varnish strippers as well as graffiti removers since it effectively dissolves a broad range of coatings, has low odor, prevents re-adhesion of paints and is completely water rinseable.
  • Also acts as a solvent for engineering polymers and coating resins such as urethanes, epoxies in water-based coatings and electro insulation coatings, imparting high chemical and thermal stability.

2-Pyrrolidone (2P)

  • A drug solubilizer and penetration enhancer in parenteral and injectable dosage forms, specifically in veterinary products.
  • It is a precursor for a variety of pharmaceutical drugs used in the treatment of depression, seizures and other neurodegenerative diseases.
  • Functions as a solvent in paints & coatings formulations providing adhesion enhancement and solubility.
  • A chemically and thermally stable, non-corrosive organic polar substance used as a solvent in the processing of synthetic resins.
  • Used as a solvent in printing ink compositions, enhancing the adhesion of the pigments as well as stabilizing the usual poorly soluble compounds.

Methylene Chloride (MEC)

  • Serves as a reaction solvent in the extraction as well as in the synthesis of several pharmaceutical compounds.
  • Utilized as an organic solvent for dissolving the polymers in tablet film coating giving faster drying times.

  • Widely used in paint formulations due to its rapid-drying property, high solubility and low flammability.
  • This chlorinated solvent acts as a potent solvent in paint and varnish stripper for a variety of surfaces.
  • Used as a reaction solvent in the production of polycarbonate resins used for the production of thermoplastics and cellulose triacetate.
  • Widely used as an auxiliary-blowing agent in the production of flexible polyurethane foams.
  • Plays a role in electronics industry in the production and cleaning of printed circuit boards of various electronic devices.

Neumag

  • Magnesium Aluminium Silicate
  • Magnesium Aluminum Silicate products are naturally occurring water-washed smectite clavs. It can disperse in water with good thixotropy and stability. It's rather compatible with alcohols and high-polarity solvents such as glycerol and sorbite. When put in water it can disperse quickly and form translucent thixotropic gel.
  • In pharmaceutical industry, magnesium aluminum silicate is mainly used as pharmaceutical adjuvant emulsifier, filters, adhesives, adsorbent, thixotropic agent, thickener, suspending agent, binder, disintegrating agent, medicine carrier, drug stabilizer, etc.
